Ingredients : |
1/4 cup honey, 1/4 cup molasses, 2 packages active dry yeast, 1 3/4 cup warm water, 2/3 cup nonfat dry milk powder, 2 eggs, beaten, 2 tablespoons vegetable oil, 2 teaspoons salt, 1/2 cup quick-cooking oats, 1/2 cup wheat germ, 1/2 cup whole bran cereal, 2 cups whole wheat flour, 3 1/2 to 4 1/4 cups all-purpose flour |

| How to Prepare : |
* Combine honey, molasses and yeast in the warm water. Cover and let stand until foamy, about 10 minutes. * Stir in milk powder, beaten eggs, oil, and 2 teaspoons salt. Blend in the oats, wheat germ, and cereal. Beat in whole wheat flour and 1 cup of the all-purpose flour. Stir in enough all-purpose flour to make a somewhat stiff dough. * Transfer dough to a floured surface; knead for about 8 minutes. Cover and let rise until double. Halve dough; let rest 10 minutes. Shape dough into 2 loaves. Place in 2 greased 8 x 4 x 2-inch loaf pans. Cover and let rise until nearly double. Bake at 350° for 40 minutes. |
